WHAT IS THE EDUCATION PATHWAY?
The purpose of the Education Pathway is to give you a visual representation of the learning journey taken by every JAYE Malta Achiever.
From primary school to university, JAYE Achievers have access to the best opportunities for active participation in business and community life.
The Education Pathway maps out their learning journey which combines knowledge, skills, competences and the practical training needed for the community and working life.
"Identify one's own creativity and skills"
JAYE is built around three main concepts Entrepreneurship, Employability and Financial Literacy. These make up our Three Pillars.
WHAT ARE THE THREE PILLARS?
The Three Pillars are the core of what we strive to achieve. They are the guarantee we make to you, that in completion of any of our courses these are the skills that you will perfect.
We define entrepreneurship as turning ideas into action through innovation, risk-taking, planning and perseverance. These attributes are essential to successfully identify and seize opportunities; personally, in the community and at work.
Employability is the notion of bridging the gap between school, the community and work. This includes specific work-related skills that are crucial for you to be successful as an entry-level employee, and later in life. Through partnerships with the business sector and our diverse team of volunteers, JAYE courses connect the dots between what is taught in the classroom and the relevance of the information for the future.
Financial Literacy is not only about the ability to understand how money works in the world but how to manage it. This is the set of skills and knowledge that allows you to make informed and effective decisions when faced with how best to utilise your financial resources.
