It all started in October – 2 programmes, 11 judges, 32 teams, more than 150 students and 35 mentors. This journey has been a roller coaster in different ways for the teams. Certainly a source of emotions – joy, sadness, stress, anger, passion. 24 teams will now battle in tough competition at the JAYE Semi-Finals taking place on the 27th of April ‘2019 – hosted by Business Labs. The Semi-Finals represent a turning point and a moment of truth for all the teams.
Throughout the day, the Company Programme teams will be giving a 4 minute presentation about their company’s journey. The StartUp Programme participating teams will be giving a 4 minute pitch to convince the judges that their idea would be worth investing in. Finals are not just about showcasing but more specifically about why their Company or StartUp is the best there is!
The top 5 Finalists will then be selected from the respective programmes to compete once again. The ultimate step of the contest will occur at the JAYE Finals & Awards Night on the 4th of May. Nevertheless, the Semi-Finalists remain eligible for Signature Awards in the respective programmes. From ‘Best Business Plan’ to ‘Best Digital Marketing’ the Awards are many but the competition tough.
Unfortunately, the Semi-Finals are not open to the public but reserved to the teams and their families. However at Finals you get to meet these budding entrepreneurs at. The event is kindly hosted by Hilton Hotel Malta and supported by Studio 7. Do join and support these brave and brilliant students on their night to shine!
